🌍 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 Phase Holographic Imaging (𝗣𝗛𝗜)
For PHI, being part of the Regenerative Medicine Engine means more than having access to world-class resources — it means belonging to a vibrant ecosystem where entrepreneurs, scientists, and innovators work side by side to accelerate discovery.
PHI is pioneering 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 (RT-QPI), a non-invasive, label-free technology that lets scientists continuously monitor living cells without disrupting them — a powerful capability for quality and reproducibility.
As part of a 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), PHI and collaborators are developing a system for cell quality control that links QPI-derived cell quality data with omics information, ensuring each cell sample’s history travels with it throughout its lifetime — from lab to patient. By combining real-time imaging with predictive analytics, the project also aims to forecast cell growth outcomes early in the expansion process — bringing regenerative medicine one step closer to safer, scalable, and data-driven manufacturing.
This is entrepreneurship in action: advancing technology, solving real-world challenges, and accelerating the future of regenerative technologies through collaboration.
We’re proud to work alongside PHI as part of the RegenMed Engine’s growing ecosystem!
