In this study, the authors used cell culture systems in submagnetic environments to study the role of geomagnetic fields in SH-SY5Y cell migration and cytoskeleletology. Laser holographic HoloMonitor M4 is used to detect the effects of long-term cell exposure to magnetic field environments and submagnetic environments, and the results show that cell migration in submagnetic environments is significantly slower.
At the same time, using HoloMonitor M4 to track changes in dynamic morphology in the long-term exposed magnetic field environment and submagnetic environment of SH-SY5Y cells, the researchers documented changes in parameters such as volume, thickness, area, circumferential, irregular and eccentricity, and clarified the regulation of the F-actin cytoskeleconus in the submagnetic environment.
